EDM View: 6 Principles at a Glance
The CDO does not need 40 dashboards: they need six principles, at a glance.
Framework / standard: ISO/IEC 38505-1 §5 (Evaluate–Direct–Monitor)
The state of your governance programme should not require 40 separate dashboards. Linedat's EDM view crosses Evaluate–Direct–Monitor over the six principles of ISO 38505-1 in a single surface.
Six principles, six cards
Value, Risk, Restrictions, Quality, Lifecycle and Authority, each with their key metrics (valued assets, critical risks, policy violations, quality coverage, lifecycle states, active delegations and grants). Corporate governance maturity, not a list of dashboards.
For the committee
It is the surface that a CDO or a committee walks through to see the programme state at a glance, without getting lost in operations.
The limits (what we do not claim)
The EDM view is computed on demand (no time-series trends yet): these are aggregations over indexed columns, not pre-computed snapshots. Recurring refresh and trends depend on the pending scheduler.
How Linedat helps
Linedat gives management the state of the six ISO 38505-1 principles in six cards — governance maturity, not 40 dashboards.
Related capabilities
The committee does not decide in a Word document: it decides with evidence linked to the data.
Data Valuation: Utility IndexHow much is your data worth? A self-calculated utility index 0–100 (usage, lineage, quality).
Data Risk with 5×5 Matrix and Effectiveness VerificationA data risk is not closed by saying "already mitigated": it is closed with proven effectiveness.
